Outside, behind the window

2023, screen print on warp, handwoven cotton, 95x70 cm each

Always the same view from the same window. The seasons, as seen from my window, documented and screen-printed onto loose warp threads. The threads are then pulled into the loom, while the process of weaving blurs the monochrome motifs like the passing of time.
The textile pieces hang freely in space as if light and shadow have etched themselves into the fabric, reminiscent of the curtains in my room.
